When we talk about the grace of God, it’s typically in the space of falling short. God is giving us his grace instead of giving us what we deserve.
But sometimes, grace can take on a different form outside of a failure.
Grace can look like an unexpected blessing, a moment of favor we didn’t ask for, or a season of peace that follows a storm. It’s not always about redemption from mistakes; sometimes, it’s about the kindness of God showing up in our lives when we least expect it, not because we failed, but because He is good. Grace is woven into the beauty of a sunrise, the gentle support of friends, or even in the doors that open when we feel unequipped to walk through them.
As we go through our day, let’s ask God to open our eyes to the grace we’re standing in—grace that upholds us, carries us, and surrounds us. Whether we feel deserving or not, grace remains. Let it draw us closer to the heart of God, not only when we fall but also when we rise.
